These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KCalTrack ("the app", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
KCalTrack is a calorie and nutrition tracking app. It uses AI to help estimate nutritional content of meals based on descriptions, photos, or barcodes you provide. Nutritional estimates are generated by third-party AI models and are approximations only — they are not a substitute for advice from a registered dietitian or medical professional.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian. The app is not directed at children under 13.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings. Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
Prices may change. You will be notified of any price change before it takes effect.
Nutritional estimates provided by the AI assistant are generated by machine learning models and may contain errors. You should not rely solely on AI-generated estimates for medical, dietary, or health decisions. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.
By using the AI features you confirm that you understand this limitation and accept full responsibility for any decisions made based on the estimates provided.
The app integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and optionally OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini APIs. Your use of these services is also governed by the respective provider's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or content of third-party services.
All app content, design, code, and branding is the property of the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of nutritional data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or reliance on AI-generated nutritional estimates.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or any in-app purchases in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £10 (ten pounds sterling), whichever is greater.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer protection laws apply.
